A square new bone china trinket dish printed with 'Come Fly With Me', Katy Hayward's original artwork of a pair of pīwaiwaka (fantails) carrying banners of mānuka.
'Come Fly With Me' features a dancing pair of pīwaiwaka (fantails) carrying banners of mānuka, wings and tail feathers spread. Fantails are fierce hunters, and their long tail feathers help them twist and turn quickly in flight.
The drawing was inspired by bushwalks with Katy's family and the fantails that follow along, darting around her daughter. A matching cup is available in the same design. Designed in Aotearoa New Zealand, made in China.
