Kuwi's First Egg Board Book – Kat Quin
Chew-resistant enough for the toddler who prefers to eat books rather than read them.
The board book edition of Kuwi's First Egg, written and illustrated by New Zealand author Kat Quin. 32 full-colour pages, sturdy laminated board.
Kuwi is a young and confused kiwi who finds herself alone with her newly laid egg. She has never had an egg before, has no idea what she is supposed to do with it, and only knows she should care for it. A funny and heart-warming story for early learners, with detailed illustrations full of native creatures. Winner of the 2025 Storylines Gaelyn Gordon Award, for a work of fiction that has stood the test of time.
This board book edition has thick, individually matte-laminated board pages for small hands.
