Inspired by the kupu Kōtuitui (to lace, fasten, interlink and connect), the design draws on flowing tāniko patterns to reflect the weaving of people and relationships.
The mug comes with a wooden lid to keep drinks hot.

River Jayden (Ngāti Tahu - Ngāti Whaoa, Ngāti Maniapoto, Ngāti Apakura) is an Ōtautahi artist whose vibrant work honours Māori identity, blending pūrākau (creation stories) with contemporary design. Her murals and public artworks have gained strong national and international recognition.
