A limited edition Christmas decoration featuring 'Walking with Aroha', Katy Hayward's artwork of a brown kiwi in a mānuka flower crown strolling through native bush.
The kiwi is joined by a few special native friends, including hura (giant centipede), pūpūrangi (kauri snail), kahukura (red admiral butterfly), copper and blue butterflies and mumutawa (ladybird), among kauri, tānekaha, rimu, tōtara, ponga and mānuka foliage.
Kiwi are a national icon of Aotearoa New Zealand, cherished by all cultures. The drawing was inspired by Katy's love of bushwalks with her family, with a nod to her daughter's love of fancy headpieces. A matching cup and trinket dish are available in the same design.
