Katy Hayward Bone China Cup – Walking with Aroha Kiwi
A kiwi in a flower crown, which is frankly how mornings should start.
A new bone china cup printed with 'Walking with Aroha', Katy Hayward's original artwork of a brown kiwi in a mānuka flower crown strolling through native bush.
'Walking with Aroha' features a brown kiwi taking a stroll through New Zealand native bush, wearing a mānuka flower crown and joined by native friends: hura (giant centipede), pūpūrangi (kauri snail), kahukura (red admiral butterfly), copper butterflies, pepe ao uri (common blue butterfly), Janita's tussock butterfly and mumutawa (ladybird). The foliage includes kauri leaves, cones and seeds, tānekaha, rimu, tōtara, ponga and mānuka.
The drawing was inspired by bushwalks with Katy's family, with a nod to her daughter's love of fancy headpieces. A matching trinket dish is available in the same design.
Material: New bone china
Care: Dishwasher safe, hand wash recommended.
