Katy Hayward Ceramic Coaster – Kapokapowai Dragonfly

The small, good-looking thing that stops a wet ring on your good table.

$16.00

A 10.8cm square bone china coaster with a cork base, featuring Katy Hayward's original artwork of a kapokapowai (New Zealand giant dragonfly) with climbing rātā vine.

The New Zealand giant dragonfly, or kapokapowai, is one of Aotearoa's most ancient native insects, with striking yellow and black markings and a powerful wingspan. In this piece it is paired with climbing native rātā vine, a plant that reaches slowly up through the canopy before bursting into red bloom.

New bone china with a cork base. Tiny surface bumps or pinprick marks are a natural result of the heat-press and glazing process, giving each tile its own character. Clean with a soft dry cloth; designed for indoor use. Designed in Aotearoa New Zealand, made in China.
